ELMHURST ART MUSEUM EXHIBITION: THE SEARCH FOR FORM

 

The Elmhurst Art Museum, Elmhurst, Illinois, is the premier suburban art museum in the Chicago area.  From May 15 through October 3, 2010, it featured an exhibiition entitled "The Search for Form." The museum brochure described it as follows: "The Search for Form features the work of two remarkable Chicago artists: Eleanor Himmelfarb and Holly Renald Cohn.  It was during the 1980's that Holly Renald Cohn began studyng painting with Eleanor Himmelfarb.  The exhibition represents abstract canvases painted by both women during the last few decades."  The EAM webstie is at www.elmhurstartmuseum.org
